Hi, I'm Ross Turner, the designer
and manufacturer of the Fuelmate catalyst
system.
Over the years
I have heard of products that release tin into fuel and enhance
the combustion process, just as lead does, but without the
harmful emissions. |
This is because tin
burns up and oxidizes during the combustion process, turning into
a tin oxide, whereas lead does not change state and is emitted in
exhaust from the tail pipe.
Lead, being a toxic
emission, has been banned from sale and use by the EPA.
I purchased some of
these units, did some testing on my own vehicles and found an improvement
in performance and economy. This proved to me that this technology
actually works.
I became more involved
over time and began selling a particular brand. At the same time
I investigated the design of other brands on the market. What I
noted was that there were many design inefficiencies as these units
had been unchanged for a long time.
Over recent years,
engine technology has improved and the engines have become smoother.
This prompted me to design a fuel catalyst that suits the engines
and fuels using today's technology as well as engines from earlier
times.
